Weleda Rose soap

I am quite a fan of foaming products (yes!) including soaps. Soaps can be equally pleasurable and caring as a body shower gel or creme. Perhaps more "basic", I do think that soaps can give you a nice "clean feeling" ...and I guess that is the sensation I am looking for here. I tend to use soap only for the body as face care does require a really gentle approach.

My opinion

I am not a first time user of Weleda beauty range. I have previously reviewed the Sea Bucktorn hand cream (here). I always wanted to try their soaps as I heard some good things about them. Hesitating between the 3 existing (calendula, iris or rose), I went for the rose!
Enriched with organic rose extract and glycerin, the gentle foam cleanses aways impurities and leaves skin soft with a fresh feel. Rose extract is widely known as rejuvenating, hydrating and calming. I particularly enjoy the delicate smell of rose. Really light but still present.
For those who have a really dry or a super sensitive skin, I do find that the soap is not rich or nurturing enough to cocoon those skin types (a rich moisturising body lotion would be neccessary after showering).
At the end, I personally enjoy using Weleda Rose soap from now and then and hope to be able to try soon their Wild rose pampering body lotion.
