Bareskin Beauty love

Back in June, Juliette from Bareskin Beauty (a british company) kindly sent me a beautiful package containing generous samples of products that I previously selected. I was very impressed by the attention to details and the prompt customer service. While going on holiday I had the opportunity to test some products (see here) and today I am reviewing two of them.

Papaya and Honey resurfacing balm

This carefully blended light honey/mandarine color balm is quite a revelation to me. No doubt I am a fan of exfoliation (for more details, click here). I do have one expectation though: the exfoliant must not overdry or irritate skin. This is an essential key characteristic from a face scrub (I think!).
Applied on wet skin, the Papaya and Honey treatment gently melts and foams. The Himalayan salt actively removes dirts and dead skin cells while gently polishing skin. Honey is highly moisturising and papaya seed oil is both purifying and regenerative. Skin is really left so smooth and hydrated, and cell renewal is boosted. I am in love of this product. I am a fan of the citrussy scent, so, quite happy with the delicate lemon myrtle and patchouli smell that perfumes the beauty blend.

Composition: himalayan pink salts, liquid castile soap, ascorbic acid, beeswax, Carica papaya (papaya) butter, Baschosula citriodora (lemon myrtle) essential oil, Pogostemon cablin (patchouli) essential oil.
Retailed at £29.00 for 60ml.

Clarifying cleansing serum

I am always on the hunt of the perfect cleanser. I choose to try the clarifying cleanser as I have a sensitive combination skin. This balm with its refreshing smell and yummy color is really soft for the skin. Shea butter, cocoa butter and jojoba oil smooth away impurities. Apricot and sea bucktorn oil restore skin natural radiance by bringing essential fatty acids and nourishing nutrients. A special blend of anti-bacterial and antiseptic essential oils help to improve skin clarity and tighten the appearence of the pores. I use this cleansing serum in 2 ways:
-  I apply it on damp skin as a proper cleanser and remove it with a muslin cloth (but this is not my favorite method of face cleansing unfortunately although it has lots of benefits).
- I apply it twice a week in the evening as a purifying balm.

Composition: Butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, Theobroma cacao butter, beeswax, honey, Prunus armeniaca (apricot) oil, Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) oil, Hippophae rhamnoides (Sea bucktorn) oil, Citrus paradisi (grapefruit) essential oil, Citrus aurantium (bitter orange) essential oil, Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) essential oil, Eucalyptus citriodora essential oil, Mentha piperala (menthe) essential oil.
Retailed at £26.00 for 60ml.

....soft, efficient, and great natural products!

Overall rating for the 2 products: 9/10
