So' Bio Etic BB cream- Perfecteur de Teint

With Perfecteur de Teint, the popular french organic beauty brand So' Bio Etic has created a very interesting BB cream. The cream aims at providing a very natural and uniform coverage while keeping the skin hydrated and protected. Ideal for any woman who wants to simplify their make-up routine (like me) and taking care of their skin at the same time.
So' Bio Etic was launched a few years ago in France and their skincare, bodycare, haircare and make-up products are predominantly distributed in french supermarkets and sell at a very affordable price. Since last year, you can also buy their products online but they only deliver in France at the moment.
I purchased Perfecteur de teint BB cream a while ago and I am happy to report my thoughts about it.

Product description: BB cream 5 in 1
Certified: yes (Ecocert)
Texture: cream
Shade: beige nude (01)
Price: 11€ for 30ml

BB cream Perfecteur de teint claims to provide 5 benefits in one. It hydrates, purifies and is able to protect the skin from UV rays due to the presence of SPF 10 (factor a bit too low in my opinion). In addition it evens the skin out without feeling and looking too "heavy" thanks to the light texture.
I choosed the lightest shade "beige nude" because my carnation can be quite fair in autumn/winter. I have combination skin type and I tend to like a natural and matte finish and do not particularly fancy a shimmering/shining look 3 hours after application.

This light silicon-free cream is formulated with a blend of soothing plant oils such as jojoba and sunflower and key revitalizing/calming extracts such as pomegranate and oat, which bring softness to the skin. The scent is very light, quite flowery.

Application is for me not the greatest feature of Perfecteur de teint. I usually warm up a bit of cream in my hand palm and delicately apply onto cleansed and moisturised face with gentle circular movement. However, it tends to dry up a bit in your hands quite easily if you do not apply it immediately, which is not really nice. A solution I found is to mix the cream with my current moisturiser. This makes applying more convenient. Rather than using my hands I could opt for a make-up sponge (!) or any other tools. It may facilitate the application as well. And perhaps I should, because I like the effect this cream gives.

The coverage is, for example, fairly good. The skin is left radiant and small wrinkles/pores are minimised as long as you do not apply too much of the product. The finish is natural, but I wished it could be a bit less shiny. As I do not apply mattifying powder, my skin can look a bit dewy at the end of the day.

As an overall, BB cream Perfecteur de Teint delivers well. Despite the fact that it may not apply easily (although using it with a sponge may be a solution?) and that the finish is not matte enough to my liking, I still think it is good value for money.

++ good price
- ease of application
-  slightly shiny finish

My overall rating: 7/10
