You all know my love for Bodhi shower therapy and their heavenly aromatic scents (check here and here for reviews). I used them as a pure treat on weekends or for special occasions. On a daily basis, I rather have a slightly "less luxurious" shower gels or body soaps. Weleda bodycare line comprises a nice range of creamy body washes and I was delighted to receive the Wild Rose version as I am a very big fan of the rose fragance.
Product description: Weleda creamy body wash
Certified: yes (Natrue)
For: all skin types
Price: 8£ for 200ml
The Weleda Wild rose creamy body wash is a rich blend of delicate botanical oils and gentle detergents according to the Weleda "savoir-faire". Mixed with a bit of water, this creamy body wash transforms from a delicate white cream to a super onctuous thin layer of caring foamy emulsion (let's be honest, I am just a tiny disappointed that the body wash does not foam as much as I wished- I am one of those who L I K E foam :-)). Once rinsed, skin is left cleansed, nourished and really supple thanks to Sesame and Rosehip organic oils. It also contains squalene, a olive-derived lipid present in human sebum which boosts cell regeneration and helps skin rejuvenation. This body wash is extremely gentle and is really suitable for dry and sensitive skin. The soothing and calming Rose aroma is perfect to unwind from busy days and really helps bringing serenity.
If you are looking to switch to natural products without spending too much, the SLS-free Weleda shower cream is a very good choice. It is a lovely product at a very reasonnable price. I am really curious now to discover the other scents of the range (such as the Pomegranate or the Citrus body washes).
