LoveLula July Beauty box: do not miss it!

It is the end of the month and it is never too late to introduce you the July edition Lovelula green beauty box. I am very excited to talk about it because it is one of the best and probably one of my favorite boxes. Having said that, some of the previous editions (link here and here) were really not bad too!
Worth more than £52.00, you only pay the amazing amount of £13.95 and get all the products below.

Ooh! Oils of heaven organic Hemp oil (£19.00 for 30ml)
I'm really excited about this one. Hemp oil is a precious oil for combination and troubled skins as it helps to balance the sebum production while restoring the natural moisture level. This is due to the exceptional content of the oil which is naturally rich in Linoleic acid (Omega 6).
I love applying a couple of drops in the evening and gently massaging it into the skin as an overnight treat. The smell is quite nutty but I like it. The oil absorbs really well and leaves the skin incredibly soft. This is the perfect beauty oil if your skin tend to misbehave.

Chobs Aloe face sheet mask (£4.10)
Another lovely surprise- this time from the Korean natural beauty brand Chobs. I have to confess that I have never tried any sheet masks. Why? I find them quite expensive in general and I am not sure if they bring " more results" than any traditional masks. Anyway I can't wait to try this one. Stay tuned for the results, I will try to post it very soon!

My. Haircare Colour treat conditioner (£18.00 for 250ml)
I always like to use a good conditoner, especially in the summer to help soothing and providing additional moisture to my hair. I have long (and kind of curly) hair, so a good conditonner is for me a product that is able to repair while not weigthing down the locks too much. I will be putting this conditioner over the test in the next coming weeks as well. This is a new haircare brand and I am glad to discover it.

Balm Balm Tea tree organic face balm (£8.95 for 30ml)
I am probably going to keep this one until Fall arrives as I find the weather is too hot to use it on the face at the moment (I usually stay clear of heavy/ greasy textures during the Summer months) Featuring antiseptic Tea tree oil, Shea butter, and Calendula oil. I imagine this balm to be perfect to nourish the skin while keeping the sebum production in balance thanks to the Tea Tree essential oil it contains. I really like the tube countenance and the packaging is really handy to carry the balm in the handbag if needed.

Apple&Bears Bergamot & GreenTea hair & body wash (30ml)
This multitasking hair/ bodywash is ideal to gently wash hair while cleansing the body leaving its delicate, refreshing, and flowery scent all over. It is really nice to use despite the gel not being too foaming. I will definitely be happy to sample a bigger size!

D'alchemy age cancellation booster (sample)
I have yet to try this sample, so I cannot really comment about it. At first glance, it seems like a great skincare product designed to improve skin appearance while diminishing signs of inflammation at the same time.

John master organics Rosemary body milk (sample)
The generous sample was wonderful at deeply moisturise the body. It has a fresh Rosemary hint which is very pleasant. The texture is lovely as well. My skin was left really supple and nourished and is perfect if you have dry skin. I really liked it!

Another fantastic box from LoveLula! Hurry and sign up HERE.

Natural french beauty brands on the test: Patyka and Absolution

Hello Summer! Can you believe it is already mid-July? Honestly, I can't! Anyway, today I'm excited to talk about a couple of skincare and body care products from French brands I wanted to try for ages: Patyka and Absolution which are popular french high-end natural beauty brands. Thanks to the online boutique Jolie, I had the pleasure to test these few Made in France goodies while holidaying in Dubai and also here in Amsterdam. Read my thoughts below!

Patyka marine crystals revitalising body scrub* (€25.00 for 125ml)

I have reached for the Patyka body scrub mainly before my holidays to prepare my body for the oncoming beach sessions (and I'm currently finishing off the last bits this week). The gentle and revitalising body scrub looks like a creamy gel- very pleasant to use on the skin. With its very fresh scent, the formula is enriched in soft Poppy grains and marine crystals that lift away dead cells and impurities. The scrub produces a slight foam upon contact with water making the application very easy. I absolutely love how my skin is left smooth, firm, and feels like completely revitalised and glowing afterward. Bare in mind the presence of "parfum" in the formula if you are someone that rather want to stay away from it. As an overall, this is a really great body exfoliator from Patyka and I would be super keen to try the rest of their body range.

Absolution La creme gommante* (€31.90 for 100ml)

Absolution is a French beauty brand that has been on my radar for a while now so I am glad to be able to test the face scrub. La creme gommante is an Aloe vera juice based- rich cream displaying an interesting formulation combining nourishing botanicals oils, fruit extractsand flower waters. The exfoliating actions are due to the presence of fine particles of Diatomaceous earth and the AHA's found in the Blueberry, Lemon, and Sugar Cane extracts. You can also find Bentonite that brings clarifying properties to the scrub.
The texture is very unctuous and concentrated so I don't need much to reveal a much brighter and radiant skin. At the end, this is an absolutely lovely face scrub designed to illuminate, restore the skin glow, and softens at the same time. Suitable for all skin types (which is nice!).

Absolution Le serum anti-soif hydrating serum* (€38.00 for 100ml)

Housed in a very smart and hygenic pump dispenser, the serum Anti-soif is a wonderfully lightweight gel/creme that instantly melts into the skin when I apply it. Formulated with plant hydrosols, flower extracts, fruit extracts and botanical oils, the serum leaves the skin soft and moisturised. It also contains the top natural healer Aloe vera. Whereas Sage and Mint hydrosols bring some tonic and antiseptic properties while keeping the sebum production in balance, healing plant extracts (Elderberry flower, Wild Pensey) aim to improve the skin texture. It also features Fucocert, a plant polysaccharide praised for its highly calming and moisturising properties. This serum is really a superb skincare discovery. It really stands up to its claims. Forgot to mention that it can be used underneath your daily cream or makeup as it leaves no greasy residues. Worth the try!
